All money raised at the event helps build the Firefighter memorial in Corunna’s McCurdy Park.
OWOSSO, Mich. (WJRT)- The fifth annual Firefighter’s Memorial Pig Roast gathered crowds at the Shiawasse Conservation Club in Owosso this weekend.
In addition to the pig roast, live musical entertainment saw groups like Stellar, SRF, The Regulators, and White Knuckle Ride take the stage.
“This event means a lot to me to honor the firefighters in the community, it gives back to their service that they gave in the past,” said Travis Schneider, prsident of the Shiawassee Firefighter Memorial team.
All the proceeds go towards the construction of the Firefighter Memorial in Corunna’s McCurdy Park.
