Police said a woman drove into a crowd after an altercation in downtown Minneapolis early on Saturday morning.
MINNEAPOLIS — Minneapolis police said six people were injured, one fatally, after an altercation led to a hit-and-run early on Saturday morning.
Police said officers were called to the area of 5th Street North and Hennepin Avenue just before 12:30 a.m. for a report of a crash that injured several people. Officials said six people were taken to Hennepin Healthcare.
One of the victims was a 16-year-old girl, who later died at the hospital. Police have not released her name at this time.
Police said among the injured were two 14-year-old girls who had non-life-threatening injuries. Three others in their 20s were also injured, including a woman who is in critical condition.
No other information has been released about the other victims as of Saturday afternoon.
