Here’s how you can sign up for this year’s Castal Bend Heart Walk [Video]

Run—or walk–to sign up for the 28th annual Coastal Bend Heart Walk to benefit the American Heart Association’s efforts to increase heart health in our community.

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Organizers for the 28th annual American Heart Association Heart Walk are looking for teams to make this year memorable and lifesaving by signing up for this year’s event.

Brittany Sandbach, senior development director of the Heart Walk joined us on First Edition with more information on what you can expect heading into the big day on Oct. 5

Supporters will gather once again at Whataburger Feld before going through the streets of downtown to raise their goal funds for this year’s walk.

This year’s goal is to raise $475,000.

“We’re really excited and hoping to reach that goal this year. And it’s actually the centennial for the American Heart Association.”
