Hosted by the Dance Science program in the College of Performance, Visualization and Fine Arts, the dance festival will take place at the Dance Black Box Theater in Room 207 on at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The festival began in 2007 with the goal of bringing contemporary dance to the local community. Tickets can be bought online through the MSC Box Office and are $12 for general admission and $7 for students and seniors.
Many Texas A&M faculty members will present their work during the festival, including lecturer Jessica Boone, who will perform “Dense Distractions,” Carolyn Rabbers, instructional assistant professor, who will present “Where Our Feet Touch the Earth,” and Carsa Armstrong, Dance Science program director, who will coordinate with Diane Bedford, section chair of Dance, Music and Theatre Performance, for their performance, “Intertwined.”
