LEXINGTON, N.C. — Looking to get out this weekend? The Lexington Pride Festival will return to the city for a second year, according to a release. The festival, now annual, will serve as a celebratory hub for Lexington’s LGBTQ+ community.

In town for one day only, the Pride Festival will be held on Saturday, Sept. 14 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 202 N Main St. Suit C in Lexington.

The event is described as a free, family-friendly event that will feature performances from drag artists and DJ’s from the Triad.

Three food trucks including The Empanada Spot, Bee’s Creamery and Khrissy’s Kitchen will be available for attendees looking for a bite to eat. The festival’s vending section has grown to include more local organizations.

An 18+ after party will be hosted directly after the festival. More details are available here.
