Tyreek Hill breaks silence following police incident and thanks Dolphins teammates for ‘putting their life on the line’ [Video]

TYREEK Hill has thanked his teammates after he was detained by police before the Miami Dolphins NFL opener over the weekend.

The Dolphins wideout was handcuffed after an alleged traffic offense just a block away from Hard Rock Stadium on Sunday morning.

Hill was seen in viral images lying prone on the ground after being pulled over for allegedly speeding, per ESPN.

The 30-year-old was detained following a “verbal altercation,” according to the outlet’s Jeff Darlington.

After the incident, Hill was released by cops and went on to play in Sunday’s curtain-raiser against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

“Right now, I’m still trying to put it all together,” Hill told the assembled media following the game.

“I still don’t know what happened. But I do want to use this platform to say, ‘What if I wasn’t Tyreek Hill?’
