COVINGTON, La. — The Covington Police Department says they will have extra officers at the Covington High School vs. Bogalusa High School football game after a social media threat.

“We urge everyone to remain vigilant. If you observe any strange or suspicious activity, do not hesitate—CALL 911 immediately,” Covington Police said in a Facebook post.

Extra officer will be inside and outside of the stadium, according to Covington PD.
