Cinderella’s Closet to provide free homecoming dresses this Saturday | Top Stories [Video]

(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) Homecoming is on the way for area students and Cinderella’s Closet is giving away free homecoming dresses to ease the burden for community members. 

Community members can come from 1-3 p.m. on Saturday, September 7, at Cinderella’s Closet and can browse a selection of short and long formal dresses and accessories. 

The fitting rooms won’t be available for use during this time, but individuals are not limited in the amount of items they take home, so if you’re unsure of your sizes or how something will work, you’re encouraged take home a few options, and find what works for you. 

Brandi Dredge, assistant director of Cinderella’s Closet, said one of the reasons they provide this service is to take away the financial stress of buying homecoming dresses.
