Purdue lauching new online Master of Science degree | Local [Video]

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — Purdue University is offering a new, 100% online Master of Science degree in software engineering. 

The new degree will focus on several key areas including artificial intelligence, data science, cybersecurity, embedded software, robotics and more. 

Purdue master’s program emphasizes working as a team to solve software problems and communicate decisions about software design and development.

Online courses are offered by the same professors and instructors you would find on Purdue’s campus.

Purdue advises that a bachelor’s degree in computer science or computer engineering would be wise to have in order to succeed at the online master’s degree.

Individuals with related undergraduate degrees and appropriate work experience, such as software development for themselves or others, may be admitted pending review.
