The GBI arrested seven people from Sandersville involved in the drug trade, according to a press release from the agency
After a four-month investigation, the seven people — ranging from 30 years old to 64 — were taken into custody.
The GBI’s Middle Georgia Gang Task Force began making arrests on Aug. 23, the press release said.
They say 64 grams of cocaine, 28 grams of marijuana and a riffle were confiscated during the investigation.
The GBI arrested the following individuals, according to the press release:
- Justin Sutton, 32: trafficking in cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of knife during the commission of a crime
- Robert Johnson, 64: 3 counts of sale of Cocaine and possession of cocaine
- Donald Sutton, 47: 2 counts of sale of cocaine and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon
- Howard Swint, 52: 2 counts of sale of cocaine.
