Shakas & Shoutouts celebrates the good people, things, and events happening in our local community, here and abroad. The He Hali’a Aloha no Lili’uokalani Festival is happening this weekend to honor the last reigning monarch of Hawaii. Foodland and Sack and Save is also celebrating a big one – 24 years of their Give Aloha program. Lastly, Maui’s Department of Parks and Rec is making it easier to get permits.
