The Boys and Girls Clubs of Dorchester is celebrating a milestone year for Mike Joyce.The club’s senior vice president of operations has been serving local families through his work at the club for 45 years.President and CEO Bob Scannell called him a legend.“No one works harder,” Scannell said. “He doesn’t tire somehow. We’re always amazed.”Joyce was 16 when he took a summer job at the club and never left. “The organization’s been around for a total of 50 years.
