Firefighters respond to an 18-wheeler fire in Gladewater [Video]

SMITH COUNTY, Texas (KETK) – An 18-wheeler caught on fire Saturday afternoon and firefighters are responding, Smith County Emergency Services District 2 said.

Nikki Simmons, the Community Outreach Coordinator for Smith County ESD2, confirmed a semi truck fire at around 4:40 p.m. on Highway 271 and County Road 3107 in Gladewater.

According to Simmons, gray smoke was coming from the front of the box truck and ESD2 firefighters are responding.
