Obama Marked the Tenth Anniversary of “Suitgate” On Instagram [Video]

On August 28, 2014, former President Barack Obama got his Republican haters all up in their feelings during a press briefing on the United States’ military response to ISIS. But the controversy was less about what he said, “We don’t have a strategy yet,” and more about what he wore. President Obama’s tan suit got plenty of criticism for being too casual for such an important press conference.

“He looked like he was on his way to a party at the Hamptons,” Rep. Peter King (R-NY), told CNN in an interview at the time.
