Cedar Rapids Firefighters help pigs in stalled semi-trailer in excessive heat [Video]

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – The Cedar Rapids Fire Department helped out some hogs stuck in a stalled semi-tractor on Monday amid excessive heat.

When the firefighters arrived, they discovered the trailer held dozens of hogs.

Responders used water to help keeps the pigs cool as the truck received repairs.

“It was a bizarre call, for sure, but if you know anything about the Fire Department, you know we don’t give up, ever,” the Fire Department wrote in a social media post.
