6th annual 307 International Film Festival set to take place in Laramie [Video]

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) – August 31 and September 1 are the dates for the 6th annual International Film Festival.

Taking place at Studio City in Laramie 62 films will be featured with genres “from thought-provoking documentaries to edge-of-your-seat thrillers…something for every film lover.”

Wyoming Documentaries and Narratives will be some of featured films as well.

Director of the festival Nid Collins says that years ago when this festival was in the planning phase in their minds were the festivals that used to take place in the past.

Collins says, “it (past film festivals and events) was really successful and they gave out a big cash prize, but it went away, and myself and a couple of other filmmakers we were like what can we do to replace this because we wanna keep filmmaking happening in Wyoming and so it didn’t really take long to figure out, what about …
