Jeremy Taylor and Timea Taylor moved into their new Maryville home with their daughter on Tuesday.
MARYVILLE, Tenn. — A couple who were both deployed to Afghanistan and saw combat moved into a new Maryville home on Tuesday. The home is effectively provided by the Freedom Alliance, given to the couple mortgage-free.
The Freedom Alliance is a Virginia-based nonprofit that aims to “advance the American heritage of freedom by honoring and encouraging military service.” It provided the new home to Jeremy Taylor and Timea Taylor, giving them a place to live and raise their daughter.
Jeremy was wounded by a grenade two separate times and had been involved in several firefights during his 18-month service.
