(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD) said a vehicle versus school bus crash closed all lanes of Galley Road near Chelton Road on the morning of Tuesday, Aug. 27.
A little after 8 a.m. on Tuesday, CSFD posted on social media that crews were on the scene of a crash involving a vehicle and a school bus. CSFD said there were no children on the school bus and all occupants were out of the vehicles.
CSFD said the vehicle involved in the crash was on fire but fire crews were able to put it out.
Drivers are asked to avoid the area. The Colorado Springs Police Department Communications Center said eastbound lanes are blocked.
