53-year-old Shey Marler was arrested for DWI, tampering with physical evidence, possession of a controlled substance and leaving the scene of an accident.
ODESSA, Texas — 53-year-old Shey Marler was arrested on Friday, Aug. 23, after crashing into two parked vehicles and a home, according to an Odessa Police Department press release. OPD is investigating the case as a hit-and-run.
According to the release, OPD was called to the 300 block of E. 86th St. at 8:48 p.m. in reference to a hit-and-run.
When officers arrived to the scene, an investigation revealed that Marler, driving a blue Dodge Ram, struck a home and two parked cars before leaving the scene.
Marler was later found intoxicated by OPD and had THC on him.
The release stated that Marler had thrown away multiple beer cans. A further investigation revealed that Marler had four prior convictions for driving while intoxicated.
