Man in Fort Stockton arrested for murder of 20-year-old [Video]

FORT STOCKTON, Texas — 21-year-old Julius Rey Ramos was arrested by the Fort Stockton Police Department on Saturday, Aug. 24, for the murder of a 20-year-old man, according to a FSPD press release.

The release stated that officers responded to the 400 block of South Oklahoma St. When they arrived to the scene, FSPD found a man, later identified as Alejandro Lozoya, dead with a gunshot wound.

FSPD said Ramos and his family walked into the police department’s lobby and reported the shooting.

Ramos was then arrested for murder without incident.

FSPD is still investigating the case.
