Walmart Supercenter in Monroe to undergo major remodel [Video]

MONROE, La. (KNOE) – If you’ve been to the Walmart on Louisville Avenue you may have noticed some construction being done on the store. As it turns out, shoppers can expect to see more of this work as the weeks go on.

In a press release, Walmart announced plans for the Monroe location to undergo “a major remodel.”

Monroe Store Manager Stacy Martin says the improvements will give customers a better shopping experience.

“Walmart has been a part of the Monroe community for nearly 36 years, and we are always looking for ways to better serve our customers,” said Martin. “Remodeling our current store will allow us to offer our customers greater convenience and an enhanced shopping environment, and we ask for customers’ patience while work is underway to deliver those improvements.”
