The approach of Labor Day means New Orleans tourism industry getting ready for new visitors and events.
The final summer holiday is a big one for the Crescent City. Mark Romig, Chief Marketing Office of New Orleans & Company, says they are expecting a good number of people.
“We expect a good number of people to head to New Orleans to get that last bit of vacation in,” said Romig.
“Of course, there’s Southern Decadence, and we expect to have a robust piece of business for that. Then we head into September, which is an exciting time for us.”
Romig says that includes the NOLA x NOLA event, with more than 60 music clubs participating, and COOLinary restaurant specials extend to the middle of the month this year.
