LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – Nebraska football and volleyball both hosted their annual fan day on Saturday to get Husker Nation ready for the upcoming seasons.
The day started early at the Bob Devaney Center with a line that wrapped around the building. Players and coaches were there to sign autographs and interact with fans of all ages. The transfers and freshmen got their official welcome from the volleyball fan base as they got hyped for their anticipated season.
“It’s just an awesome community and it’s really supportive,” said Husker fan, Maggie Gibilisco.
“They’ve got a bond that’s more than just volleyball, so hopefully it’ll help them play better together,” said Husker fan, Tyler Harm.
