A warm weekend and even hotter work week [Video]

PEORIA (25News Now) – Summertime heat and humidity returns and will continue through the work week. However, late tonight into Sunday morning there is a chance for non-severe showers and storms, especially near and west of the Illinois river. This will bring the potential for heavy rainfall.

Otherwise, the warm weekend will lead to a steamy work week with temperatures back into the 90s and heat index values reaching the triple digits.
