It will come back on the menu on Monday alongside a fan-favorite seasonal sandwich but with a twist.
MACON, Ga. — A Chick-fil-A milkshake that has spent over a decade off the menu will make its return on Monday as one of the Atlanta-based chicken chain’s next seasonal menu items.
It’s a take on a classic southern delicacy, banana pulling, but in milkshake form: the banana pudding milkshake.
Chick-fil-A’s banana pudding milkshake first hit the menu in 2011, the company said in a press release. For the past 13 years, they say it has been off the menu.
Chick-fil-A says the milkshake incorporated Chick-fil-A’s “Icedream” and mixes banana and vanilla wafer cookie crumbles. They say the milkshake comes together as “cool, comforting flavors,” the press release said.
For early-bird banana lovers, the chicken chain is also introducing the Banana Frosted Coffee, a cold brew coffee infused with “Icedream” and banana and vanilla wafers.
