NEW BRITAIN, Conn. — A collaboration between community organizations and their business partners resulted in the distribution of food and essentials to nearly 400 New Britain families on Wednesday.
Price Rite says the event was part of its annual “Feeding Minds & Bodies” campaign in partnership with Feed the Children, which aims to support families experiencing food insecurity. According to Price Rite, 2024 marks 10 years of joining forces with Feed the Children.
Before the event, the Boys & Girls Club of New Britain pre-identified families from the city.
