NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — Albertus Magnus College has announced they will offer Conencticut’s first licensed practical nurse to bachelor of science in nursing program.
Dr. Rosa Rivera-Hainaj, vice president of academic affairs and dean of faculty at Albertus Magnus College, joined News 8 at Noon to discuss what students can expect in this new program.
In partnership with Griffin Hospital’s School of Allied Health Careers, the program will expand nursing career opportunities to help address the state’s shortage of nurses.
