LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – The Capital Humane Society is offering adoption promotions for dogs, cats and critters on Saturday, Aug. 24.
The one day only event will be hosted at the Pieloch Pet Adoption Center.
Adoption fees for dogs of any age will be $75 and cats of any age will be $50. Critters such as guinea pigs and rabbits will be 50% off, the center said. License and rabies fees may apply for cat and dog adoptions.
The Pieloch Pet Adoption Center will be open on Saturday from noon to 6 p.m. The center said that potential adopters should plan to bring a photo ID along with all family members to meet a potential new pet.
