WACO, Texas — The 450-car parking garage at Foster Pavilion is being transformed with new decorative translucent screening, according to a Facebook post made by the city on Wednesday, August 21.
The Foster Pavilion, a joint venture between the City of Waco and Baylor University, includes the basketball arena, parking garage, and riverfront development.
One side of the garage now features a scenic view of Lover’s Leap from Brazos Park East, while another side proudly displays the Baylor Bear mascot alongside the “Sic ’em Bears” motto. Crews are continuing work to complete the screening on the remaining two sides of the structure.
The decorative additions to the garage are part of ongoing efforts to revitalize the area and strengthen the ties between the city and the university.
