Jamie Foxx latest health update: Star to share story in Atlanta [Video]

ATLANTA — Actor and entertainer Jamie Foxx addressed his health scare last year in a new video on social media. The star says he’ll be coming back to Atlanta to share his story this fall.

In the new video, the actor spoke with the community members at what appeared to be a gym.

“Atlanta saved my life. ‘Cause I was here when it (his health scare) happened,” Foxx said in the video. “Atlanta saved me. If I had been anywhere else…”

Foxx said he needed every prayer from the community.

“I feel good,” he added. “I’m gonna find a room down here (in Atlanta) and tell some jokes. I’m gonna put these stories in, so I can sort of tell it in my way.”
