Repak announce the closing date for entries into the 2024 Pakman Awards [Video]

The Pakman Awards are widely recognised as one of the most prestigious accolades in the environmental sector for those who demonstrate their commitment to sustainability and environmental efforts.

Repak has announced that the 2024 Pakman Awards will close for entries on August 31.

Celebrating a decade of excellence, these awards honour best practices and achievements in recycling and waste management from businesses, organisations, community groups and individuals across Ireland.

For the very first time, this year’s awards will include two new categories, including Best Deposit Return Initiative and Best Single Use Plastic Initiative.

Over the past ten years, the awards have recognised and rewarded many environmental champions across Ireland.

Last year saw the introduction of the first individual award, ESG Leader, which was won by Sian Young from Britvic for her contributions to recycling and waste management.
