Meet Jim, a very social 6-year-old Cooter Turtle!

Jim is a social butterfly who absolutely loves human interaction. He’s always excited to see visitors and will swim right up to the ledge to greet you. Jim has a playful side too—he can’t resist climbing onto the black floaties in his tank, only to slip off slowly, like he’s having the time of his life.

This lovable turtle enjoys sitting with you while you chat; he’ll even come out of the water just to hang out closer. Jim is truly a love bug who’s eager to find a home where he can continue being the charming, interactive companion he was born to be.

His ideal home would have a tank or enclosure with at least 100 gallons of water, a dry dock, and heating/UVB.
