Webster Street businesses team up for ‘World Wide Webster’ [Video]

North Tonawanda, N.Y. (WBEN) – In collaboration with the second annual Carnegie Art Spree, the “World Wide Webster” event will be kicking off in North Tonawanda on Sunday.

From 11 a.m.-to-4 p.m. ET, attendees will be able to enjoy food, music, and dances from all over the world. There will also be special $5 cocktail and food menus, each themed after different cultures, for people try.

Kristin Derby, who helped organize the event, says there will also be an interactive “passport” game for those who are interested in a challenge.

“The first 500 attendees will get a what’s called a ‘passport’ to emphasize the cultural opportunities that are there on the street,” stated Derby in an interview with WBEN. “For every visit, every purchase, you get a stamp, and then at the end of the day, you can submit it for a grand prize drawing.”
