Wawa grand openings set for Mobile, Robertsdale stores [Video]

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — Two more Wawa stores are coming to Alabama, and grand opening celebrations are scheduled, according to company officials.

Wawa said in a press release that the new gas station and convenience stores are coming to Mobile and Robertsdale.

Both stores, which are scheduled to have grand openings on Aug. 29, come four months after the first Wawa of the state opened in Fairhope. Just as the Fairhope Wawa had a grand opening ceremony, the new locations have ribbon-cutting events scheduled.

The ceremonies will happen after both locations open at 8 a.m., according to the release. The first 100 people who arrive at each location will get a free T-shirt.
