Costco member rages after wife stopped from buying items despite having card & likened saga to ‘shopping with Netflix’ [Video]

A FURIOUS Costco shopper has blasted the retailer after his wife was turned away, compared its membership-sharing crackdown to a similar move from Netflix.

Costco has come under fire in recent months for its controversial membership policy.

Customers have flocked to social media to voice their complaints.

“So I had an experience at @Costco where my wife tried to pay for our groceries and they prevented her from doing so because we were using my Costco card,” the shopper wrote on X.

“I didn’t know I was shopping with @netflix.

“This whole sharing membership control is getting out of hand. #boycottnetflix,” he said.

This year, Costco has clamped down on membership sharing and customers are not happy about it.
