BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The California Cardiovascular Institute recently donated a lifesaving Automated External Defibrillator (AED) to Gameday Sports Academy. The donation will be commemorated with a free family friendly event, “Heart of the City.”
Gameday Sports Academy operates inside the Dignity Health Sports Complex and the AED donation is crucial for cardiac arrest emergencies. Having the device on-site will guarantee athletes receive the proper treatment when needed.
