AI to enter your childs classroom, experts say [Video]

EAST LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) – Artificial intelligence has been a hot topic in many areas like national security and health care. Now, experts say it will be making its way into the world of education.

Colleges and universities—including Michigan State—have started to implement specific guidelines when it comes to AI use in the classroom. However, some people are worried AI will do more harm than good.

“It’s already here. It’s happening,” said Roee Barak, founder and CEO of an AI tool called Upword. “AI is taking over every aspect of our life. The classroom is no different.”

Experts say AI can help teachers with mundane tasks like grading spelling tests and even help students brainstorm and study.

“You can create quizzes, questions and answers, flashcards. [There’s] endless ways to create effective learning,” continued Barak.
