BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – By Saturday, the real estate industry will officially make a change that could impact how you buy or sell a house, according to one local agent, the change will make the home buying process more transparent.

“We are no longer able as agents to just go show you a home without some sort of meeting of the minds and relationship established on paper. I’m never going to go put a sign in your yard and start advertising your home without having met with you and spoken about our expectations, your rights and what we can expect going forward.
