SALT LAKE CITY — Phil Lyman is asking the Utah Supreme Court to force the state to pause the printing of ballots for November’s election. He wants the ballot printing process to wait until Utah’s highest court rules on his case contesting the gubernatorial primary election results.

In July, Lyman’s campaign filed a lawsuit in Utah’s 3rd District Court. He asked a judge to force election officials to turn over a list of people who signed ballot petitions for his opponent Gov. Spencer Cox.
