Transaction denied: System failure limits access to funds [Video]

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — A systems outage left an unknown number of Regions Bank customers without the use of their debit cards Monday morning, though a spokesperson tells FOX54 the situation was corrected by the lunch hour.

The problem appeared to be widespread, with many of those affected discovering the issue when they tried to make a transaction.

“Who else having issue with regions bank this morning?” asked one user on the social media platform, X.

Another posted: “Regions Bank is completely down right now. Can’t even transfer money. Gonna be a long day out here without lunch lol.”

A bank representative answered some of the concerns with a response acknowledging the problem.
