Missing swimmer found at Toledo Bend in Burkeville [Video]

BEAUMONT, Texas — A 23-year-old missing swimmer whose body was found in the Toledo Bend Reservoir over the weekend has been identified.

Noah Roden, 23, was identified as the missing swimmer whose body was found, according to a news release from the Newton County Sheriff’s Office.

Roden was part of a group from Lamar University attending a ministries camp, according to the sheriff’s office.

The university, which confirmed in a statement that he was a current student, is offering counseling services to students at the Lamar University Student Health Center.
