MSCS announces families can now track school buses on new app [Video]

The school bus mobile app is secure and free for Memphis Shelby County Schools parents, caregivers and students.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Shelby County Schools (MSCS) announced families can now track the school bus in real-time and receive notifications when it’s nearby through a new app.

MSCS says the school bus mobile app is secure and free for parents, caregivers and students.

The app will allow users to get the location of their bus, receive notifications when the bus is close and to get messages from MSCS transportation about substitute buses or other adjustments.

Users will need to confirm the following when registering through the app.

Student’s name and school
Student’s ID number
Student’s date of birth
