17 new sculptures installed at Mountain Home, Ark. art walk [Video]

MOUNTAIN HOME, Ark. (KY3) – A large crowd was on hand Friday at Arkansas State University in Mountain Home for the unveiling of new sculptures at the town’s art walk.

What’s been an idea years in the making, you’ll find on the south side of the ASU-Mountain Home campus. The new Mountain Home Art Walk is an effort cultivated by the City of Mountain Home, the university, and the Art Walk Committee.

“It starts on the east side of the ASU-Mountain Home campus. It goes all the way to the city side near the new aquatic and community center with side trails going off. We have miles of trails already,” ASU-MH Chancellor Dr. Brentley Wallace explained.

After months of searching for an artist, the group found Sculptor Dale Rogers, who constructed 17 pieces to place on the walk.
