Tahoe Justice Court and Tahoe Jail Facility to give tours [Video]

STATELINE, Nev. (KOLO) – the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office and the Tahoe Justice Court are inviting you to the courtroom and jail. Wednesday the public will get an up-close look at how the justice system works through a tour of the courtroom, offices and the jail.

This event is a chance to come together as a community and gain a deeper understanding of how the justice system operates in Douglas County. Whether you’re a resident, a student, or just someone with a keen interest in justice and law enforcement, this is a good opportunity to get behind closed doors. Judge Michael Johnson of the Tahoe Justice Court says “We have some interesting things up here and what it is we do here, even what the court has jurisdiction over. Plus, if somebody wanted to come and watch open court proceedings, we will explain what they might expect to see.”)
