AUSTIN (KXAN) — On Wednesday, the Leander Police Department said on social media that a gas leak led to temporary road closures. The department said natural gas company Atmos Energy responded to make repairs.
According to LPD, Sonny Drive was closed between Bagdad Road and Moon Glow Drive due to the leak.
In an update, police said the road was open to traffic, but added drivers should slow down and use caution when traveling through the area while crews were still making repairs.
