Man shot during argument at Mobile convenience store police investigating [Video]

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — The Mobile Police Department is investigating a shooting outside a convenience store, News 5 has learned.

Man charged with attempted murder after two people stabbed in Escambia County, Florida

According to the MPD, officers responded around 2:55 p.m. Aug. 4 to reports of a shooting at a convenience store located at 2305 Costarides St.

LOCATION:

When officers arrived, they found gunfire had hit the store but that no one inside the store was injured.

They then found a male victim who was shot, according to an MPD press release.

Authorities said investigations found that a known suspect shot the man and demanded money during an argument that took place in a vehicle parked outside the store.

Police search for shooter in death at Stone Ridge Apartments

The victim went to the hospital for treatment after the shooting, according to the release.

MPD said this is an active investigation.
