Cattaraugus Co. Emergency Dispatch Supervisor passes away [Video]

The Sheriff’s office posted the news to social media on Tuesday night.

CATTARAUGUS COUNTY, N.Y. — The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office announced on Tuesday that Senior Emergency Services Dispatcher Timothy T. Lexer has passed away.

According to the sheriff’s office, Lexer began working with the dispatch center back in 2006 and was promoted to Senior Emergency Dispatch Supervisor in 2019.

“Senior Emergency Services Dispatcher Timothy T. Lexer answered his final call on July 29, 2024, as the result of a tragic accident. Tim began working with the Sheriff’s Office Dispatch Center in 2006, being promoted to Senior Emergency Dispatch Supervisor in 2019. Tim was the voice on the radio that every law enforcement officer, firefighter, and EMS provider wanted to hear knowing that they were in the best hands.
