Andrew ‘Freddie’ Flintoff is finally addressing the life-changing crash that he survived in 2022 while filming Top Gear.
The beloved TV presenter and ex England Cricketer posted a trailer on Tuesday for an upcoming BBC series (his first social media post since 2022) called Freddie Flintoff’s Field Of Dreams.
In the trailer, Freddie discusses the horrific high-speed crash he endured at Top Gear’s test track, Dunsfold Aerodrome, in December 2022, leaving the 46-year-old seriously injured.
Since the accident, Flintoff has remained largely silent about the ordeal. However, he has gradually re-emerged in the public eye over the past year.
In March, the BBC confirmed Flintoff’s return for the new series.
A trailer for the forthcoming four-part series teases Flintoff’s first in-depth discussion about the crash. In the trailer, he remarks: ‘Something happened that’s changed my life forever,’ as the camera focuses on his face and the visible scars from his injuries.
