Hundreds of performers and dozens of floats made their way around the city, starting and ending at Commonwealth Avenue.

“Like our theme, it’s important that we lead with love and show the Susquehanna Valley that this community is nothing but love,” Miquel Gonzales, co-chair of the event, said. “If you think you want to make a change in your community and show support to strangers, it’s a good thing to come out and support people you don’t know. Show someone that you love.”

David Archuleta, an American Idol finalist, headlined Saturday’s event.

There was also a $250 cash prize for the best decorated float.
