DMG Media Ireland has selected 40 brilliant young minds in the Irish advertising industry and will be showcasing them every Friday over the coming weeks

Sarah Geoghegan – business director, Core Sponsorship

Sarah Geoghegan began her career in media over 10 years ago as a marketing intern at Virgin Media Television (formally TV3).

She spent several years working within the commercial arm of the business, and specifically sponsorship and brand partnership activations.

Geoghegan made the move to Core in 2019, and is now business director in Core Sponsorship, having previously been head of media sponsorship at the same agency.

She was selected as a recipient of the Diageo IAPI Female Futures Fund in 2021 and is a 2021 European Sponsorship Association Diploma alumni.

Most recently, she was involved in the working group for the formation of the Irish arm of the European Sponsorship Association, ESA Ireland, which launched earlier this summer.
